i'd love to hear you comments. i think i just need to hear from the people i know.

someone please explain stupidity to me. i don't understand it. why do people act so dumb?
so i work at quiznos and one of the employees got fired. he came in for his check last friday and he wasn't on that pay roll so the check didn't come in. he took this as quiznos wasn't paying him, so the logical thing he decides is to throw our sandwich making stuff around the store and trash it. i'm making subs at the time and he comes beside me to start grabbing stuff and it took a short while but it came to me that he had no reason to be back there. i told him to leave and he starts trash talking grabs me by the collar trying to shake me around. i'm ready at any moment to crack him in the head if he were to start swinging and hurting people. i just stared him down and he got bored with me since i didn't say anything to him and proceeded to throw our turkey around the store.
this is not all...
i went to Conneticut with people from my church here in Boston to see a Shane and Shane concert. Michelle, our hostess was ever so kind to put some of us up for the night. Previously before the trip we've talked of her brother whom she has trouble with. He is rather rebellious and all that junk. last night after arriving Michelle's mom wants Nicole, Michelle's sister to go see if Jaime the brother is where he says he is. we all take a ride to a near by house and find her brother drunk which is of no surprise and was already assumed. Michelle and her brother are not on good terms. For some reason he gets really pissed off when we go around the block because we wanted to drive somewhere while Michelle's sister is checking out the scene for their mom. when we get back he comes to the car yelling at michelle being a total jerk and then starts yelling at me from out side the car window. after many threats and punches that hit the car he decides that he needed to punch me. so i get one in the face and we drive off.
what can be said to rage and stupidity? there is no reasoning with it. i can't say anything and i won't join their sherade so i'm left feeling like people walk all over me....and as much as it depresses me, i'm okay with that. what other way of living is there? i don't understand stupidity. rage is so unattractive. God is so faithful to reassure me. He was crucified under what true accusations? i rest in His assurance that this way of living is not in vain. i thank Him that he leads by example because words are meaningless unless backed by action.
it's been a mentally exhausting week. i feel like forgetting about the last two weeks of school. I just want to be with the people I love and forgetting the world.

i'm working at 9 tomorrow morning, which i thought i had tomorrow off. oh well. it's also pay day so that makes up for it. heading out to a concert sunday in Conneticutt. i didn't even know who i was going to see and then i found out it was Shane and Shane. and it's FREE. i'm psyched. 2 weeks of school left. it dosn't feel like it. i need 3 days of nothing so i can do my school work. i hope my final projects don't end up like crap for lack of time.

i had a dream last night that i was making up a paper for my American Government class. i'm almost certain i'm failing the class now. in the dream my teacher gave me the wrong paper to do and i was trying to improvise my way through the paper because i knew none of it and i just figured that this was normal because i understood nothing in class. then he handed me back my paper that i revised ( i actually had to revise a paper in real life) and told me it was a really good paper and completely different. This surprised me because really so far i've gotten a D on one paper and an F on another that i've passed back in after revision. still waiting on the grade. that class is not going smooth. it's not enough that i'm really dumb in this subject but i've got a teacher who should be the ultimate source in American Government. even more than books. he's expecting way too much from a photo major like me.....and i'm not just saying that so i can hand in sucky papers. but enough...

i passed my art history paper so at least i know i'm not just really bad at writing papers. well.....don't want to sleep through my alarm clock....like i'm prone to do.

all anna said was "you should go home this summer" and for some reason that was enough for me to say, "i'm gonna go home this summer" I really didn't want to be in Boston all summer. I told my manager today I'll be home this summer so i'm half way there. Now I just need a job. I guess i always have the Quizno's option since I won't need any training. i'm very excited to be home for the summer. thanks anna. i'm still checking out the japanese film thing.

i have one day left before spring break. no school today, so i'm watching the price is right. i should have won a car. when do i get to win a car? i want a car. i started to look at used cars even though it will be probably 2 or 3 years until i get a car. now someone is winning a trip around the world. New York Weddings

New York was great. I had little sleep and much fun. I got into China town and didn't know what to do next. Mike and Dan had no cell phone so I was waiting for them to call. So I walked around Manhattan for 3 hours and it was cool. I got to explore the place a bit. Then I got a call from them and they were coming to get me so I waited in Starbucks and did my homework. We met finally only by talking on the phone telling each other where we were until we found each other. We found each other and yelled to each other from across the street and so i ran across 42nd street and gave old danny boy a big hug.

In Light of Recent Debates

In light of recent debates about the leaders of the US, I have been forced to think about what a government should be like. I had a wonderful time this afternoon talking with God about it. The only successful government I can see is that which is founded on God. Like the US. (unfortunately, I find the US is not founded on God anymore. I do not consider this a Christian nation, but this is not what i'm getting to) Notice I say successfull government and not successfull democracy.
God must be the center. He is the source of power. Yet this presents a problem. Not everyone worships or believes in God. Does this change God's existance or legitimacy? No. They are still children of God, they just don't know it or refuse to believe it. The question I presented God with was how can we have a productive successfull government, when there are those who will reject it, because i don't want people to reject it. I want them to know God and know his saving power so that they will be followers of Christ too. but in reality, the Bible says there will be those who reject Him.
I do not assume to believe that everyone will fall inline and support a government centered around God, especially at this point in the US. So as for those who reject it, they have not me to face, but God. I can not change the hearts of men. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to convict, not me. So what i'm getting at (i hope i didn't trail off) how can we be effective in both government and in evangelism, with causing as little uproar as possible. To have a truely God centered government, which will cause uproar, and then still bring an uproared crowd to Christ. (let's face it, I do not expect a Christian to be in uproar about having a God centered government.)
So what do we do about the uproar? We continue on with or without them. If they are gripped by God to follow His law, then I will welcome them into the family of Christ with open arms. If they choose not to follow Him, then I will pray for them, but still continue to support a government where God is head. Now, it sounds like I support a government where the citizens are forced to be Christian. Honestly, in a way, there is some truth to it, but i am not opposed to those who aren't Christians, being under a God centered government. I gladly welcome them. I am opposed to having someone who isn't a Christian, being a leader in a God centered government because if they are not lead by God, there is room for Satan's leading, and satan is about stealing, killing and destroying, which will bring around the destruction of a nation.
God's law should be a part of the government. After all his law was first, before even the existance of the earth. i will not sacrifice a God lead government for the appeasement of human. I wish to comment on morality but that opens up pages on pages of dicussion. let me say this simply, morality should be of highest regard. (i'm posting another post after this about quotes on democracy and government. it's really interesting and i encourage you to look at them)
I feel like i've gone on and am just typing what is coming to me. I'm trying to make sense, honestly. Apply my thoughts how you see fit to our current point in this countries government. Please ask me questions. this is the verse, I was moved by today. it is not only relevant to individuals, but also countries.
